CALIFORNIA REGULAR DIVORCE
(WITH MINOR CHILDREN)
LEGAL DOCUMENTS
What are the Requirements for a California Divorce?
It is important to first determine what kind of California Divorce is right for you. There are two kinds of Divorces in California, a Summary Divorce and Regular Divorce. A Summary Divorce has strict requirements that must be met; you can view those here. If you do not qualify for a Summary Divorce you must proceed with a Regular Divorce. Both the Summary and Regular Divorce processes require that at least one party be a resident of California for 6 months.
We have two different rates or a regular Divorce. If you have minor children from your marriage, you are in the right place. If you do not have minor children from your marriage, you can visit the appropriate service page here.
